How do I help a client get into rehab?

You can help a client enter rehab by arranging a confidential assessment. With the client’s consent, the assessment reviews substance use, health risks, and withdrawal needs. Which clients are suitable for residential rehabilitation?

Residential rehabilitation is suitable for adults with moderate to severe alcohol or other drug dependence, particularly where there are safety risks, repeated relapse, or limited community supports. Suitability is confirmed through a clinical assessment.

What information is needed to get a client into rehab?
