我们的设施与地点
We provide alcohol detox in peaceful, private settings designed for safety, calm, and personal dignity, not clinical coldness.

The first steps into recovery can be the hardest. Many people come to us unsure whether they need detox, rehab, or both. You don’t need all the answers right now — just a place to start. We offer medically supervised alcohol detox programs that can stabilise your health and prepare you for what comes next.
Each detox program is supported by experienced clinical staff and counsellors who understand the realities of withdrawal. Whether you’re seeking help for the first time or returning after relapse, we’re here to support you with care that’s judgment-free, evidence-based, and tailored to you.
Our detox and rehabilitation services combine medical support with holistic therapies to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms.
How we'll help you break your addiction
Alcohol remains the most common principal drug of concern in AOD treatment, and detox is often a critical entry point for recovery. It's also often the most physically intense part of recovery. But with the right team and setting, it’s also the beginning of hope. Here’s what to expect.
Alcohol detox is the process of allowing the body to clear alcohol from your system. It’s typically the first step in a longer rehabilitation process. Without alcohol, your central nervous system begins to recalibrate, which can lead to uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms. But under professional supervision, this process is safer and more manageable. Detox prepares you for further treatment and helps reduce the risk of serious complications.
Alcohol withdrawal can begin just hours after your last drink and bring a range of symptoms. It affects your body and mind and can quickly become serious without support.
During detox, your body goes through major changes. Physically, it begins clearing alcohol and healing organ function. Mentally, you start to feel what alcohol numbed.
Safe alcohol detox means managing risk while supporting your comfort and stability. This requires medical care, emotional support, and a calm environment.
Detox alone isn’t enough to treat alcohol addiction. The next step is therapy, support, and education to help you stay alcohol-free in daily life.

The length of alcohol detox can vary depending on your level of use, overall health, and any co-occurring conditions. Most people complete detox in around 5 to 10 days. During that time, withdrawal symptoms often peak within the first 72 hours, then gradually ease.
We tailor every program to the individual, so your stay might be shorter or longer depending on what your body needs. Detox is only the first part of the recovery process. It’s about stabilising physically so you can move forward emotionally and mentally. After detox, many clients transition into our short-term rehab program, where they can begin the deeper work of therapy and relapse prevention.
While it might be tempting to quit drinking at home, detoxing from alcohol at home can be extremely dangerous. Alcohol withdrawal symptoms can escalate rapidly and without warning. Even if your physical symptoms feel mild at first, they can become severe quickly, especially if you've detoxed before.
We strongly recommend attending a facility like The Hader Clinic that specialises in detox and rehab services. Medical staff can intervene early if complications arise, and therapeutic support helps you manage the emotional side of detox. If you're ready to start your recovery, doing so in a structured, supervised setting gives you the safest chance at lasting change.
No, you do not need to stop drinking before entering detox. In fact, it can be safer not to. Cutting off alcohol suddenly without supervision can be risky, especially if you’ve been drinking heavily for a long time.
Our team will support you from the moment you arrive. You'll be safely transitioned into the detox process under medical care, and we’ll manage your symptoms to make you as comfortable and stable as possible. Our alcohol addiction treatment programs are designed to meet you where you are and holistically address both physical and psychological needs.
Detox is the essential first step, but it’s not a cure for addiction. It clears your body of alcohol, but it doesn’t address the mental, emotional, or behavioural patterns that contribute to substance use. Without follow-up care, the risk of relapse remains high.
We offer alcohol rehabilitation services that go beyond detox, including counselling, relapse prevention, group therapy, and holistic treatment. Together, these programs help you understand your addiction, build coping strategies, and create lasting change.
Relapse is more common than people realise, and it doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It simply means your recovery plan needs adjustment. Addiction recovery is not linear, and it’s normal to face setbacks.
If relapse occurs, we’ll work with you to reassess your needs. Whether that means another detox, a longer drug and alcohol rehab stay, or changes to your therapy approach, we’ll support you with care, not judgement. Our alcohol relapse prevention specialists will get you back on track with a stronger foundation for long-term recovery.
In detox, structure and calm are key. Your day will include medical check-ins, therapeutic support, rest, and time for reflection. Meals are provided, and we create a low-stimulation environment to support your body’s healing process.
Depending on how you’re feeling, you might take part in light counselling or relaxation therapies. Our goal is to keep you safe, supported, and focused on recovery. Each part of the day is designed to gently ease you toward the next step in the recovery process.
You don’t need much: just enough to feel comfortable and secure. We'll give you a full list of what to bring to detox and rehab, but we suggest bringing comfortable clothes, toiletries, any prescribed medications, and a few personal items that ground you. Electronics may be limited depending on your program.
We’ll provide everything else, from food and accommodation to therapeutic support. Detox is a short stay, and our focus is on creating a calm space where you can rest and get your life back on track without distractions.
