Why rehab pricing isn’t the same for everyone

What influences the price of rehab?

There’s no one-size-fits-all cost for addiction treatment. Your care should reflect your needs. The final cost depends on several personal and practical factors, from how long you stay to the type of program you’re admitted into.

Program length

Longer programs involve more therapy, accommodation, and support, and are usually priced at a lower daily rate than shorter stays.

Facility location

Geelong and Essendon offer different levels of care, with pricing that reflects the medical, clinical, and therapeutic support available at each site.

Treatment type

Detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient programs, and aftercare services all have different care models and inclusions, which affect cost.

Funding method

Private health, superannuation, payment plans, or government support each come with different processes and funding rules.

Additional services

Some services, like psychiatric consultations, court reports, or family programs, come at an extra cost depending on your needs.

Flexible funding options to make rehab more accessible

Worrying about how to pay for treatment shouldn’t be the reason you delay getting help. At The Hader Clinic, we offer a wide range of funding options because we believe that cost should never stand in the way of recovery. Whether you’re supporting yourself, relying on insurance, or applying for financial assistance, we’ll help you find a way forward.

  • You may be able to access your superannuation early on compassionate grounds to fund treatment.
  • Private health insurance can reduce out-of-pocket costs, especially for detox and inpatient care at our Geelong facility.
  • Our payment plans can help spread the cost of rehab over time, making treatment more manageable.
  • Eligible veterans can apply for full DVA funding, covering both inpatient care and follow-up support.
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients may qualify for support through Ngwala Willumbong.
  • NDIS participants may be able to fund outpatient or relapse prevention services through their plan.
